With the enactment in 1966 of America’s Public Information Act, all citizens are given the right to have access to various kinds of public records. In Palm Beach County in Florida, both the state and local governments maintain their public files database so that its residents can easily access Palm Beach County public records. There are records that cannot be released to other people to protect the privacy of the person concerned but most other records can be accessed by the general public.

There needs a great effort to trace old addresses, old telephone numbers, old neighborhoods. Besides, if the only data you have may not be suffiecient at all to be used as basis for your search, your quest may just end up as failure – leaving you frustrated and exhausted. In past times, digging for people’s background records is a difficult task. It requires a lot of work, time, and money. The job becomes even difficult if the person who is being tracked lives in the far state or city. Most often that not, the info gathered are not all correct. It requires a great number of processes to get permits to get into any one’s criminal and police records. There must also be a personal correspondence with all the authorized offices and personnels in order to acquire the authenticated background records.
